great little printer!!

I brought this a week ago. Only problem was the initial setup during scanning. Received an Error Code 0xEA, check documentation to resolve. I did a search getting 136 results none of which pertained to my problem. I restarted the upset several times getting the same error. I then ignored the error and installed the ink cartridges and everything worked. Attached printer to PC loaded CD and followed instructions. Done - Okay. Prints quickly and quietly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had the Epson XP-600 Expression Premium for about 1 year. I regret buying it and should have purchased another HP.
The Photo quality is good.
The use of ink or how it is handled is dreadful.

The printer will not work if any one of the cartridge is low. For example, If the red is low, it will not print in black and white........and it might indicate that all need to be replaced even it half full.
Print quality does not get lighter..........it just quits or locks up.

I have thrown cartridges away that were half full in order to get it to work.
I have no complaints about the print quality...........only the design of the printer that makes it impossible to print when any one of the cartridge is low. I have spent more on ink in one year that the cost of the printer............and I do not print many things.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Relatively easy setup

Unit was easy to set up but took me awhile to figure out that when setting up wireless connection that the keys were case sensitive and the instructions did not state to press the letters repeatedly to go to lower case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beware dripping ink!

Just bought this XP-830 to replace an old workhorse (Canon iP4300). Will see if this one can keep up. BEWARE that on setup the instructions (step 3.2) say to shake the BK cartridge... when I opened the sealed package, black ink dripped on my desk and ran all over my fingers!!!!

This model uses excessive amount of ink and you charge outrages prices for ink. This model also is missing the add on of easy print which is a fantastic item on my Artisan 810 and was also on my Artisan 50 & 20.
I would recommend this to a friend!
