I had the Epson XP-800 and the printer head went bad so I replaced it with the XP-830. So far so good, works great, excellent photos and documents.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Set-Up

I only now just installed this printer in my home office, so I have little to report except that the wireless set-up was very easy and went seamlessly. I have printed successfully and am excited to find out how it will do with photos, scans, faxes, etc. It may just earn 5 stars in the future!

Does not compare to my old Artisan 800

Just got this printer a few days ago. Set up was easy and everything worked as advertised. Then I got to the actual print product. Photos from this printer are certainly not of the quality I expected. Backgrounds are produced much darker than the actual photo and the entire photo has a dark quality about it. I learned this morning that in order to print envelopes, which I frequently do, you must unload the paper tray, readjust the guides, load your envelope, print, readjust the guides, reload your paper. My previous Epson Artisan 800, which incidentally is the only printer of several that I have owned that continued to work perfectly until it wore itself out, was so much simpler to use and produced a high quality print every time. I am just not very happy with my new printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It has been well over 8 years since I purchased my Epson Printer which just started having clogged nozzle problems. I was worried about the problems I would have setting up my new wireless and what a treat it was a to get the all in one up and running !!!! sorry I waited so long.

Very nice

I am about a month into owning this printer. Have not printed very much to date but so far very good. Have used the scanner more and I am very pleased with that function. Much faster than the ten year old printer/scanner it replaced. I like the fact that the paper tray is internal and not subject to collecting dust.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My kids tell me all the time that I need supervision when I'm around a computer. Ha! I did this set up TO MY WIFI all by myself. I love the crisp letters, the beautiful colors and the ease of operation. Take that kiddos!

Rear feed is a joke
on January 17, 2017

I bought this even though it did not have a rear tray. Instead it has rear feed. We do lots of printing with special papers and odd sizes as well as many envelopes -- sometimes 100 at a time. The rear feed takes only one piece at a time and requires you to line it up carefully. Totally unsatisfactory. Otherwise it is a pretty good printer. Color photos were quite good. I returned it and got a WF-4630 which better meets my needs.
