Good reliable printer

Prints well. Photos are Ok. Consumer reports rated as a recommended printer. Unsure of ink usage, but so far not much of a hog like HP's or Canons. Wifi printing was a pain to setup. Had to go to website to download drivers and combo package. Wasn't easy. You have to load the load the driver download separately - why? don't know. Cool feature is printing from Iphone and any computer linked anywhere in the world if so desire! I print from my email or pdf or even photos - extremely convenient!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Photo Printer

This is the second 830. The last one started spitting black ink on the sides of the picture. Tried to clean but these are NOT made to clean the print heads. The only thing to do is buy another one.

I had trouble installing from the cd. I had to download it from the internet. over all it took me 2 hours.

Prints very good quality

I have had this unit for 12 hrs. Printing once set up is very good. Set up picture and instructions not very clear. Trying to load 8.5x11 paper in cassette 2 very troubling. You need to pull out door and the stop bar is reversed. I had to get a flash light to see how this worked. Also one sheet paper copying is very flimsily and hard to get is perfectly lined up to feed properly. It would be niece to have the unit know where the paper is. So if you copy using one paper feed in back and then load paper in bottom tray you must reset it up. So if more than one is using this unit it can be confusing. I was close to sending it back, but I will try it long.

My boss authorized the purchase of this printer three weeks ago. I was pressed for time because I was leaving in a few hours for vacation but needed to print checks before I left. Therefore, I only installed the printer because the directions on the CD said I could install the rest later. Now I can't get the scanner to work
and it is needed in the everyday course of business.

Just got my new XP-830. Finding it difficult to learn as there's no good user's manual included and can't find what I need on their link.
