Great photo printing, issue with black ink blobs

This is my 3rd XP-130 in about a year. The first one had a massive mechanical failure. The 2nd one had persistent issues with duplexer not working, then ink jets became clogged and uncleanable. The current one is doing fairly well except occasionally leaving black ink blobs and smudges - especially with 2-sided printing (this was a consistent problem with all 3 of them). That said, for the price it does a great job in my home-office and printing photos up to 8x10.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The ink consumption is outrageous! Constantly replacing ink and getting no where near the suggested number of copies as advertised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to print photos

Not as user friendly as other printers I've used in the past & I've been printing for about 20 years! Does a great job printing except some sizes require complicated steps to print, i.e.. 8x10 photos. This task can be accomplished but only after completing several adjustments to the printer and your photo printing program.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DVD Printing Workhorse

It has flawlessly printed hundreds of labels on DVDs, as well as several excellent color photographs. Additionally, the small footprint, fax system, and a remote printing capabilities make it an invaluable addition to my home office.

Set up was easy; the test pages look very good...much better than the Epson WF-4630 I am replacing. Have not used it enough to say much more at this point.
