Long but easy set up proceedure.

I bought this printer yesterday and the only thing was having to manually set up the Wi Fi as it for some reason would not automatically do it. The test page looks very good so I'm assuming what I will use it for will be great. I had The Epson Workforce 600 for several years and it worked very well over that period as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great value, small footprint, great featured printer

Bought this a month ago and have had no problems with limited use to date. Print quality is excellent, install was relatively quick (with some confusion with the written instructions) with dowload great. Only real problem to date: Use instructions with printer are not great and screen menu is somewhat confusing, should be able to set up input trays without going to online manual as an example. May change rating to 5 once I use it more

Great little printer with many features

I just bought this printer to replace an older HP. While I usually stick with the same make if I was satisfied this time I could not as HP no longer offers similar printers with individual color ink tanks and I find multiple color ink tanks very uneconomically as you have to change the tank even if only one color is low. My only objection is inadequate user instructions. I had quite a job figuring out how to make 2 sided copies. Otherwise the printer is great and makes excellent photos.

We recently replaced our five year old office Epson printers with XP-830 All-In-One Printers. So far, the print quality is excellent. The CD printer completed a large project with great clarity and color. The only drawback is setting up the scanner to work with the computer. We are still trying to resolve those issues. The drivers need to be installed separately and are not included with the printer drivers install. The various wireless printing options are a plus. Still on a learning curve, but so far, it's a very nice and economical.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this XP-830 awhile ago and really liked it - until it stopped printing from my laptop. I tried everything I could think of, couldn't update driver nor would any cancelling of print jobs and restarting (as the trouble shooter advised) work. I had to do a complete refresh of my computer which means uninstalling a whole bunch of apps. So now I'm about to see if this re-install did the trick. If not, this XP-830 won't even deserve 1 star. I haven't had it for more that about a year and this should not be happening. If it works and presents no other issues I'll be a happy Epson owner - again. YAY! I was able to print from my laptop. I've only tried one page so far, but that's a good start. I'm not happy about having to re-install a bunch of apps, but I am very happy the XP-830 rides (and prints) again! I'm giving it a "good" 4 star rating for now, and if it continues to be trouble free I'll give it 5 *s.
