Incomplete installation instructions

Start booklet doesn't show "other" security tape that needs to be removed. I had to hunt for it.
AND, I had to figure out the 2 paper trays on my own.
AND, there is nothing stated about the CD tray use.

Features and Performance That Belie the Retail Price

Granted, I've only owned the XP-830 for roughly two months, but it's functionality and reliability in that short period has been nothing short of impressive. Time will truly tell the story of its overall performance, but if it can handle the regular wear and tear of a home office printer for a few years without any significant hardware issues, it will have more than paid for itself.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick and Easy

This was a quick and easy setup for direct and WIFI router. The print is beautiful. Will wait and see how much ink it uses. I print mostly b/w so I chose this model because the jumbo black ink cart is less than $14.00 and will print labels on CD/DVD, nice feature. The only negative for me is there is no slot for a USB drive, SD family of products only.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just bought this yesterday and installing it was not all the easy as it would not connect to my WIFI. Also have not found a method of getting to the printer without actually trying to print something. Fax is was not added to my desk top. Still have many things that I will have to sort through as the documentation is no clear.

Compact with a lot of features!

I just purchased this printer after reviewing multiple printers through Consumer Reports. It received a great rating and was a recommended product. It came well packaged and was fairly easy to set-up. The instructions for the set-up were very clear and easy to follow. It does not come with a USB cord so if you don't plan to do a wireless set-up and don't have a computer with a CD reader (I didn't) you will need to download the drivers and utilities from Epson's website. They provided the address and it was easy to follow the instructions. The prints I have made so far have a great quality and printer very quickly. The printer takes up very little space on my desk. I am very happy with my purchase.
