Jams a lot

I bought this printer over six months ago. It has jammed several times and I find the steps are not helpful to find the jam. The electronic parts like the output tray is in an awkward spot making changing paper difficult even when you close the tray.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The printing quality is very good, however the paper tray don't hold enough paper (only 30 sheets). I had trouble connecting Epson connect.. Don't need 5 cartridges for printing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

won't use the 410XL cartridge

My printer seems to only use the small black cartridge and the color ones, the XL black cartridge is still nearly full, but it won't print. How do I get it to use the XL cartridge?

Your softwear walked me through the set-up and registration process. Had I known this sophisticated machine was this easy to set up I would have bought a new printer earlier. The only problem I had was that it took me 20 minutes to realize that I had to follow the instructions!

Extremely poor set up information. Not everyone is a computer genius. Registration screen required an electron microscope to see, very difficult to select appropriate option

"Print in Black" option not availale "Epson Status Monitor"

"Print in Black" is not an option on the "Epson Status Monitor 3" when a color cartridge is empty! Per Epson documentation... Print your document. Epson Status Monitor 3 displays a print message. Click Print in Black to print your document.
