I bought my XP-830 yesterday and set it up today. Set up was simple and went smooth. Prints are good and the ink it came with is still working. I think I'll like the machine but the paper tray and the way it operates is awkward. Space is tight and narrow. Paper capacity is very low. I bought it for printing on DVDs. Home use should be OK. It may not work for business use.

Liking the XP-830

I'd initially bought this printer in a rush, as I needed to print some CDs and my old printer had suddenly died. Very happy with the results - both on CDs and on photos - so much so that I have now bought a second XP-830 for another location.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had my printer for a month and have used it a lot - both color and black & white. For the most part, it is easy to use, but I still have things to learn. Have not used the fax feature yet. I really like the overall size of the printer and the individual color cartridges. I wish the paper tray held more sheets, but I will get used to it.

Easy to use, great print quality, also love the idea for printing directly to a CD/DVD.I wish Epson would keep the Ink carts the same because I also own a XP600.
