intuitive setup and interface

this printer replaced two others, so now we have WiFi connectivity, scanning, faxing, copying and printing all in one smaller unit. It is working more reliably than both the Lexmark and HP printers it replaced.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We needed to either replace a printer or buy new ink for our existing older printer. For almost the cost of new ink we purchased the XP-830 . It works perfect and seamlessly.

Does what I need

This replaced two other printers that did not do what I needed. This printer is great for scanning to email which is #1 for me. It makes good copies, smaller in size and easy to read screen. Does decent photos as well. So far no complaints on this one. Have had a little over a month.

Installation cumbersome

I opted out of some features at the beginning of installation and thereafter files needed to initialize were not found. Had to restart computer and accept all Epson components to proceed with installation. Overall, installation seemed a bit lengthy. This is my second Epson printer in a row; obviously I was pleased with the last one; even though the last one expired due to a final ink tank notice after the full tank was emptied.)
