Good printer but won't print on Blu Ray discs!!!

I bought because it can print directly on discs and although it didn't specifically mention blu ray discs I assumed it would since my Artisan 725 and Artisan 730 would. Also, it didn't say that it could not print on blu ray discs either.The printing process for the XP-830 is more cumbersome that the Artisans and turns out that blu ray discs are too thick and it kicks them out of the flimsy tray so it can't print on the disc. It's a design flaw as the Artisans can print on blu rays and blu rays are becoming much more common to use. Very disappointed in Epson.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased for the rear paper/card feed. A little time consuming to do, but the results are what I expected. Quality of print very good.
