I replace my Epson XP-800 after many years and the XP-830 has made many improvements and happy with it.

Have had Epson printers for many years and have never found a better printer in its class, that produces fantastic photographs. The truest color of any printer I have ever had.

Prints nice when it "prints" from PC

This printer took a longer time that normal for me to set up. I recently did an update and now the printer no longer prints from the PC but will do test pages and print from my Android phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My old Epson gave up the ghost & I wanted another Epson because it works so well. I an happy with the new (for me) features. I use it a lot for documents, photos, cards, & CD's.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Was generally happy with my printer.......until now- 6 months after I bought it. After doing a software update at their pop up screen urging- the printer no longer works because I am using generic ink. I have 3 sets of ink in stock - worth more than the printer and now the printer is useless due to the "software upgrade" that can't be reversed. Buying a new printer that doesn't hijack me. and throwing away the generic ink
