I purchased the Epson XP-30 for the sole purpose of printing DVD labels and it does a beautiful job, I did print one photo just to see how it printed and it was beautiful, colors were sharp and beautiful, I also tried the scanner and it did the job fine. I own and use three different Epson printers at home for specific purposes and a Epson V600 scanner. The Epson XP-30 takes up little space has great features and does a fine job for the average home owner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this printer a couple of months ago to replace a larger older model 837. Works as promised. Plus adding the rear tray for thick stock paper was a great idea

Wireless Install Procedure is awful.

Every Epson printer I have owned has been impossible to install wireless-FIRST. The install has never run to successful completion and exit. It has always caused problems, eventually involving having to go into my router and reconfigure. This XP830 was no different. I highly recommend that anyone install an Epson printer USB-ONLY-FIRST. Get it working. THEN, you can add all the wireless functionality.

Does an good job

Bought as a replacement for my Epson Artisan 810. Not being 'tech savvy' it seemed good to get what was the closest to it. This was recommended. Still prefer the Artisan. This one is okay. Prefer the way the paper lines up on the platen before. Don't find the 'auto' tray a benefit. Harder to get to paper for replenishment. No complaint about the quality of the copies. More bells and whistles, but none that are of a genuine benefit to me. Good 4 in 1 for the price.
