THIS IS THE BEST PRINTER I'V HAD IN A FEW YEARS I CAN PRINT PICTURES ENVELOPES CDS AND 2 SIDE PRINTING FOR A REALY LOW PRICE COMPARED TO KANON AND OTHER BRANDS!

Had three hp printers over the years. It was time for a change.
Set was long but easy to follow. All features are working as advertised.
Just wondering if there is any software to in able faxing send and receive without a hard phone line.

Only connects to ONE computer!

SO frustrating! It will NOT connect to my mac. It connects just fine to my primary PC that is RIGHT ABOVE it... but will not connect to any other PC in the house or my macbook. LAME! It makes me crazy. I have to reinstall it EVERY time I want to use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After using other brands for years, I purchased an Epson XP830 based of photo quality and reviews. I have been very impressed it lives up to the reviews and 5 stars, great photos and easy on ink. Would recommend as a great home printer.

the expression series evolved for the good

i replaced an XP-800 with the XP-830. the 800 had served me well for years to print on CD copies for my car player, the occasional photo and routine home printing jobs. it refused to restart finally after a power outage (due to a power surge?). the 830 has some logical improvements in user interface dialog and it is capable of retracting its output tray and interface panel in a logical way. it uses different ink cartridges from the 800 so my spare cartridge stock was useless on it, but the new inks look good.
I would recommend this to a friend!
