Frustrating: Not intuitive: Probably wont buy another

This thing has too many moving parts literally and figuratively. For instance I just updated the firmware and now it doesn't recognize the ink cartridges. Buy a cannon..you wont have to deal with this BS.

Great All in one printer. However, I found it hard to connect to my network and I can't find the 64 bit update. I thought I had downloaded it, but it didn't download.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I purchased this I thought it would be a great replacement for my Epson RX580. Two issues are on-line user guide is not friiendly and lack of scanning to a pdf file.which was in the old scanning software.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this printer over a year ago and it’s the best all in one that I’ve ever owned.
Consistently good print outs and very reliable.

Very capable, but structurally flimsy

Pros: Wi-fi set-up relatively easy. Slight pain typing in the Wi-Fi address, as it uses telephone typing. Can print directly to fax! You don't need to print first and then feed the print into the machine. Scan quality pretty good. Text is fine, though CR gave that only a "good" rating. Much faster and quieter than my last printer, a Canon Pixma 922. Smaller and lighter than my old Canon. Cons: Structurally quite flimsy, maybe in part the cause of its relative flimsiness. Cartridge snap-in not solid like in my old Canon. No lights on the cartridge to indicate proper insertion and how much ink is left. Paper trays are quite cramped. I like the Canon better in this respect. Plus you have to tap a button on the display just to put in the output tray back in.
I said No for recommending the printer, but you need a Maybe button, which is what I would have selected.
