I bought my printer for college study and my own personal use. I was surprised by the print speed and quality of the printed material for the price.

Continual problems with this newer model

I bought this 2-11-18 to replace another Epson printer. I've had continual problems with this one connecting to the wireless modem / router. I finally gave up & use the wired connection. OH BY THE WAY, I have already registered this device & now I've received a prompt that it is not registered....huh....???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waiting for 64 bit transition for Mac

I keep having to uninstall and reinstall the Epson printer software because it doesn't work well with my new Mac. I suspect the problem is the 32 to 64 bit issue, which is a pain. Otherwise I love this printer.

Love the printer...except...

The little white latching mechanism on the duplexer (back of printer) broke and the duplexer won't stay tight against the printer, which causes paper jams in the trap. After discovering the cause, I've taped the duplexer to the body of the printer, and now no more paper jams. Would love to be able to replace either the little latches or the duplexer, but haven't found a way to make this happen. No information on the Epson support website.

One of 3 Epson Printers I own. EPSON is for me.

I started with other printer mgs, but they left much to be desired. Went large, (R1900), then a NX420, and WF3620, and now XP-830. All are still being used!
I would recommend this to a friend!
