Decent Printer

I have used this printer nearly every day for over a year and it has been reliable & good on ink usage. My only complaint is that every other week or so it would print a page or two with streaks or small "globs" of thick black ink. To correct this I have to manually run a printer head clean from the setup menu. Also if you don't press the "output tray" display icon within a few minutes of your last page print, then when you do press the icon a little later, the paper tray does retract but the display panel remains open and you have to close it slowly manually.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great printer at a reasonable cost.

I have had this printer for a few years and it has operated without a problem. Unfortunately, I have not had the same experience with other printers.

Always needing to "clean the nozzles" wasting ink.Nice size, basic instruction screen. Most actions take a long time to process. You barely get what you paid for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the second Epson printer I purchased and I have no reason to say I wouldn't"
purchase a third if I had to . My first printer was a Canon and I did love it, and I also had a Dell, but something drew me to an Epson and to purchase a second one. It sounds like Iv'e really been going thru printers. I actually gave a camera and my printer to my Dad and I bought the Epson. The Canon printed 11X17 pictures and that's what I used it for until it broke. I don' t know if Epson has a printer that prints larger prints but if you can afford it
you should try it. It's well worth it. You'll never have to buy another picture for your entire house. You can get very creative.
