I love my Epson Printer al in one

I love my printer all in one. However, I would love to know how or where to update this printer for the latest updates for MAC. I have gone everywhere and can't seem to find it. I keep getting the message that my Epson is not updated to work with my MAC. I will keep trying, because I don't want it to stop working. If you could send me a link, that would be great. Have a great day!

I have had this unit for a couple of years and it performed well. Now however the control panel and output tray no longer move automatically. To use the printer I have to manually pull it out to print anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great printer - Exceptional Support and Customer Service

I have had the Epson XP-830 printer for approximately three years. When the printer is properly maintained (i.e.: cleaning print heads, nozzle checks, etc.), I find the print quality to be very good. However, what sets Epson apart from previous printers is there excellent support by telephone. When my printer has any issues at all, I simply call Epson Support and they walk me through fixing the issue step-by-step. They are very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful Epson and their support are any time I have needed them.

Difficult to operate

The machine is quite good in many respects, but I have three problems with it: 1. The cassestes, particularly casset 2, are hard to align and insert. My wife refuses to liad paper any more. 2. The ADF does not work. The display says that it will not work in "this setting", but I cannot find anywhere instructions as to how to change the setting from manual to ADF. 3. I continually get lines across the page of color prints, even after I have aligned and cleaned the ink heads.

Awful!!

I am CONSTANTLY having to do maintenance on this printer, due to faded printing, lines, etc. After I fix it, it will work nicely for 2-3 jobs and then it needs to be fixed again. Each time you run a fix, it takes up more ink. Not only that, but it is constantly "disconnecting" from our Macs and PCs, so we have to reinstall it, find drivers online, etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extremely bad setup wizards, drivers, software, firmware.

The printer is, mechanically, fantastic. While the engineers did a good job, the programmers wrote some horrible code. First, the setup wizard is easily confused by mesh networks, common in today's homes. Second, the printer firmware will COMPLETELY DISABLE PRINTING if it is low on color ink. The manual suggests there is a workaround, but the workaround doesn't actually work. The software is just bad, bad user interfaces, bad auto updater, bad drivers, bad anything that was coded by a programmer.
