Good features and pretty good performance

Bought this a few years ago. Only objection is that we have to clean the print head what seems like frequently and have to do it 2 or 3 times in succession. That said, this a pretty good, affordable printer. Both black & white and color copies are crisp and clear. Does a fantastic job on photos which do not fade over time. Very good copier with multi sheet capability. Multi sheet works for scanner, too. Will scan from PC or stand-a-lone. Home use, however one of us prints millions of internet pages.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This has been my second xp-830. The first one lasted 2 years. Nice printer, nice feature. However, I wish it last it a little longer. We follow the instructed cleaning and use Epson ink. Our first printer head just did not clean well after two years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is by far the best printer I've ever owned. Looked it up on Consumer Reports. I really like the low energy use when in idle mode.
It makes GREAT prints and is incredibly easy to set up and use over my wireless home network. I can print from numerous devices and my phone simply and easily and it scans really well.
Great price, great computer - the ink is even "reasonable" - I mean - as reasonable as printer ink can be I suppose.

Spits ink on your pages. Unclearable error codes

My printer started spitting black ink randomly. I tried cleaning the heads. Now I have error code 09xA that will not clear so I have a large doorstop in my office. No amount of googling has helped me resolve this issue. It is out of warranty and the cost of service is about the same as buying a new printer. What a waste.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great printer. Versatility and print quality are its strengths. Only one issue after nearly 3 years has come up - black smudging develops on printed materials. It's caused by excess ink accumulating on the print head rest pad; blotting it dry with paper towels fixes the problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!
