I chose this printer to copy important papers, print photos and scan documents. Wireless was a must. Epson reputation was considered in choice.
Set up was a breeze with easy to follow instructions. So far print quality is primo.

Very nice product. Sleek and expensive looking but reasonably priced.
The Installation guide could be better for the consumer. It is confusing. I wanted a unit that would be compatible with my MAC and iPhone, it is confusing how to set-up for my products.
I would recommend this to a friend!

magenta print head won't print right.

Have talked with Customer support (had such a hard time understanding any of them because of thier poor english) about how to fix this. Have tried new ink cleaning the seat. Runnig the nozzle cleaner and the magenta head just won't print a full nozzle check. love Epson printers but they won't function with a missing ink carterage and they tell you there out of or low on ink when they are not, and the printer won't work untill you change it. This seems to be a reoccuring problem with your printers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed with Epson XP-830

We bought this printer as it was recommended for printing photos, which comprises the majority of the printer use. Our concerns have more to do with the ink refills than with the printer itself. Ink refills are very expensive compared to other printers; we can not purchase refills in sets in the stores, only though Epson website and these are very costly; refills last only a short time when printing photos so have to be replaced frequently. If the cost was not so high, this would be okay, but since purchasing the printer in June 2016 we have gone through three sets of refills.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice the color very nice fairly easy to set up
I still do not have this printer figured out.
What would be nice which is missing would be a manuel on how to set it up for the different
things that it do's and operation manuel other wise
for the price very nice the ink is to expensive but then again so are all the other printers inks

Super easy setup and the test page colors were bright and clear! Nice low profile and prints photographs and double sided pages! Great product.
