Poor Facial Printing

I bought this thinking that I could get good quality photos. Nada. Returned after a couple of days. Everything is now print faster etc but not keeping in mind good photo quality of facial features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I went to replace the ink cartiridge, with an Epson Brand, got an error message. Now unable to use printer. What next? the trash can? How do I get help?

Prints Excellent Photos, But Is An Ink Hog

I bought the printer a month ago specifically to print calendars on high gloss photo paper. It handled the paper very well and printed excellent photos. BUT it went through ink incredibly fast. My first replacement cartridge printed less than half the pages that did the starter ink that came with the printer. This printed replaced an Epson Artisan printer that i used for three years prior to this. I thought it was an ink hog, but this one is worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy Set Up

Just bought this printer and ran home to set it up. So far pretty easy setup and no issues with printing from my Mac book via wireless printing. If it continues to work the way it did when I just set it up then I will be a happy person.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Print Quality-Ink Guzzler

Fantastic printer in all categories, except the ink cost. The cartridges are smaller than my previous Artisan model, resulting in higher ink operating cost. Ink goes fast. I'm using draft text black to save money. Going to try after market cartridges at half the Epson price. Hope they work. If not will trash the XP830. Too expensive to use.
