BETTER INSTRUCTIONS

I got this printer about a week ago. I spent in total three hours trying to figure out how to print from cassette number 2. I looked on YouTube and found a video that was close to the setup for it. Luckily, it pointed me in the right direction.
I recommend that a updated instruction manual be created for users. This is why I give it a solid three. It has great features and looks like it can do a lot. I hope it prints on envelopes and pictures easier. I don't want to waste another three hours of my time.

You need to re-write your software so that it embodies utilities for MAC products. Downloading form your site is a needless and unnecessary task for a first time customer.

Purchased 3 months ago and love using it. Print quality is excellent. Copied photos look as good as the original. Beautiful colors! Faxing, copying, and scanning are all easy to do with on-screen instructions. Great product!

The only thing I find is a hassle is printing CD's. What I should say it is small problem if your printer is in a dimly light room. To remove both paper trays and insert the CD tray into the proper slot is a minor problem without sufficient lighting. I have to use a flash light to properly align the CD tray because the information screen is in the way. Other that that the Epson XP-830 is an excellent all-in-one printer Maybe the engineers could install some LED lights to help this situation on future Printers

With three teens in high school we find a printer need almost every evening. Homework assignments online must be printed out, reports generated, and copies made. We needed a printer that could do all these things. I haven't hooked up the fax feature because I haven't run a phone line to the library yet. The Epson XP-830 is easy to use, easy to replace cartridges, and has separate cartridges so you only run out of what color you use and not the whole thing. We did our research and if you're a geek you'll see it had an excellent review in Consumer Reports. All in all The Epson had everything we needed and crisp printing for text.

Prints clear and fast

Took me awhile to install. I have always had HP printers and this one was much different. I wanted something small, but it's so delicate that I was extremely careful when I handled it. Once I got the packaging tapes off the machine (one was under the scanner and I did not realize that the printer bed is below the scanner) I was o.k. The directions and touch screen are pretty straight forward.
But for the life of me I still can't figure out how to manually put in numbers rather than letters in the display. Fortunately the computer and Wi-Fi configured the printer for me without having to put in my Wi-Fi password manually.
