Poor Quality

Not very pleased with product. Compared to past printers it is too slow and print quality not the greatest. Wireless printing is fine but have never been able to scan wirelessly like my other printers. Spent hours trying to print an envelope with no success. You have to manually push a button upon completion just to get the unit to retract the paper carrier unit or it stays out and collects dust. Really, this is 2017. Looks are the only positive for this unit. I hope other Epson printers are of better quality.

I had the 820 when I bought this printer. I specifically bought this printer because the claim was it would print legal size paper, a need that I have. This printer's paper cartridge does not hold legal size paper. A big disappointment! So this printer, to me, is the same as the 820, which by the way is a great printer! I need a printer that will print 8 1/2 x 14" paper. Highly recommend if you don't need legal size paper!

Great print quality

Love the production of photo but struggling with 'how to use". Every time I try to scan it seems to download something new. I want to use the self-feeder and save to files on my computer and have difficulty finding where the scan is - even when I have designated a file. I am a new user of Windows 10 and that adds to my difficulties.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the photos come out with black all over. the thing groans and moans. I am not a fan of this product at this time.

Disappointing Epson Printer

I thought that Epson was the "king of printers" but I was wrong. Even after aligning the heads, I still cannot get it to print straight lines, and some of the text looks like it is italic when it's actually normal upright text. If I try to print a large document (lots of pages), the printer jams. It takes an SD card but it can't actual print documents from the SD card - only pictures, I CANNOT print Word, Excel or PDF documents from the SD card. It goes through ink cartridges at an alarming rate. The only advantage is that it has two paper trays - Oh, but I've never needed to use both trays, only ever used one paper tray. My five-year old canon printer is significantly better!

Not worth the price

Printer purchase is one of the most dreaded investments, especially when it comes to commercial grade printers.
I purchased this printer 5 months back and it suddenly started behaving erratically.
Printers once setup rarely get moved, so you can rule out mishandling.
The auto feed won't work and now the prints come out with smudges of black in the center.
Very disappointed with my purchase.

I got this one because I had one almost exactly like it. I wanted to print on cds and it does, sometimes well and sometimes with smears. It is not dependable.
