This is not a user friendly device. The instruction manual is very vague! Additionally, the printer is so slow that you can almost leave the room and have breakfast before it decides to finally print!!!
Not sure I would recommend this device to anyone-I have had other brands before and this, by far, is not the best! sorry.

I was very impressed with the easy setup of this printer. Every step was accomplished on the first try. My only problem was in registering my printer with Epson. I had to put a fictitious purchase date of 06/10/2015 to get through the setup. Actually bought this printer today, 06/10/2016 but I kept getting an error when I inputted that date. Anyway all is well now, just looks like my printer is a year older than it actually is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Printer

I have had an Epson Workforce printer for several years and loved it. When it came time for a replacement I went right back to Epson. I purchased the Epson XP 630. The wireless set up was awesome. I put aside an afternoon to do this and it ended up taking me less than 30 minutes. It is a great printer. I really appreciate the ability to print double sided pages. I am a recently retired systems analyst and now use the printer primarily for home use, hobbies, pictures and greeting cards. The end products are perfect. Color is great and very clear. Thanks for another great product.

Printer problems

I was extremely satisfied with the help I received from your technicians. The only complaint I have is that it took a long time to get the download completed. I could not do it by myself and had to call your company again and have a technician walk me through the steps.

Uses the Most expensive Fluid in the World

Inexpensive All in One printer that prints on CD's. Bought this model to replace Epson 730 that finely broke after many years of service. This new model works fine. Double sided printing is a plus. Network setup was a breeze. I had to get a second job to pay for the ink, very expensive!

I has a Artisan 810 for years & it was the best printer I ever had. However, it finally wore out and I needed a new printer quickly that would print on CDs, with an ADF, and fax. I investigated a few options and decided on the XP-830. I may have jumped the gun. The install CD didn't work at all & I had to download the drivers from Epson's website. When a document is sent to the printer over my wired network, it seems to take forever to begin the print job. Printing on a CD is NOT as easy as the 810 was. I guess I'll have to live with the 830, but it doesn't hold a candle to the 810
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Pleasantly Surprised

I agonized while I was in the store over this unit or a Canon. I had researched til I couldn't research any more. And this was the one that came out on top. Even more so because of the price. But when I got it home and set it up I was so pleased I couldn't wait to write a review! I don't have a kid at home to help with "technical" stuff anymore so having the setup be so simple and have everything complete in such a quick time eased my mind about my product choice!
I was worried it would be difficult to use for anything more than simple printing, but now I can't wait to use it for printing my pictures!
