Average low end printer

I purchased this printer because I could not longer find ink cartridges for my Dell 924 all-in-one printer which is a great printer. I find the XP-830 is not very
user friendly. The paper trays do not hold much paper and are difficult to load
into the printer. The output tray comes out automatically when you press the print button but does not retract itself when printing is completed. The outer
housing of the printer is not very strong, (thin plastic). I do like the high quality photos that I am able to print with the XP-830. However, overall it just
seem to be an average printer, certainly it would not classify it as a workhorse. I have had it only a month or so and am still getting use to it. I don't think that I would ever give it a four or five star rating. So to rate it as
fairly as I can, I give it three stars. It is an inexpensive average printer.

My New Small-in-One Printer

I haven't had a new printer in over ten plus years and WHOA!!! This is so cool! What a clear copy. Wow. My old
(competitors printer) was so old an worn out. We had a family of four printing for school, fun for the kids, job apps and resumes, and tons of career continuing education. That being said, we wore it out.
This XP feature to preview the item being used is great. A person would have to be heavily impaired to misuse this equipment. And we should never operate equipment when impaired.

Doesn't scan

I bought this about a month ago and am going to return it, I can't get it to scan no matter what I do, I even used an epson cable because I couldn't get it to work with wifi. It also takes a while to print. I had an Epson 410 xp which was great,This one is bad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to set up wireless printer

My wife and I are far from technology comfort. We wanted to set up wireless printer in home for school and church work. I was a little nervous but the directions and ease of set-up was a pleasant surprise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Still the best for photos

My old artisan 837 gave up while attempting to print 200 + Christmas photos. I ordered a new XP-830, received it two days later, and resumed printing without missing a beat. I have been using Epson printers for photos for decades now and have not been disappointed with their superior photo quality. The added functionality with my more recent use of all-in-ones, has proven even more beneficial while maintaining my standards for desired photo quality. Thank you Epson!
When complemented on my photo prints, I always recommend Epson, having found the best through trial and error over the last thirty years.

I bought this printer about the last of Oct. My computer person said in December that I was shot, could not be repaired. Took it back to the store, they were very nice and gave me credit on another printer. I picked a different brand.

Excellent for Printing on CD's

This printer was purchased to provide an inexpensive color printer capable of printing CD/DVD's. It has turned out to be a real nice workhorse for CD's, and is used daily to provide documents. Would highly recommend as a compact all-in-one printer with great CD printing .capabilities. In two years I have printed about 1200 CD's without a hiccup.
