Concerns with my Epson Printer

I purchased this printer a year ago. Whenever the black or photo black start to run low the heads need to be cleaned. I usually have to clean the heads twice to get decent printing quality and that takes almost half of the ink. The printing ends up smeared and the ink does not last very long. I would really like to talk to an Epson representative about how to make it preform better.

Constantly needs maintenance utilities run

I've had this printer for about 3 years, marginal printing capabilities. If it were a car, I would be taking it to the shop monthly. The printer not only chugs expensive ink cartridges like a drunken sailor, but it also constantly needs me to run the utilities in order to get it printing correctly. Anytime I've called customer support, I get connected to someone halfway across the world who does not understand anything other than what's on their script. I am so disappointed what I thought would be a printer sufficient for home/small business use.

I bought this about a year ago, constantly having to update,and fix everytime I shut the printer off! uses way too much ink, and can't use the maintenence when it shows ink levels low!

Setting this beast up is a horrible experience. WI-Fi Direct instructions are incomplete. Communication failures; Print job rejected messages... It's a disaster.

For 6 months i have used Expression Premium xp-830 all in one printer. This is my second Epson printer. Also quite possibly the last one i will ever purchase from Epson. For 3 reasons, #1) ilk amount that in cartridge is not useful. For example,I printed 5 photos size A4 with border and 12 bw pages , ink PBK empty 90% ,BK 90% empty, all other colors 50-60% empty. #2)scanner color matching very not accurate, grays are bluish, reds are faded, yellows are almost white. reason #3 )copying detail in scanner is of low grade detail. As a consumer , the ink replacement cartridges cost and frequency is the tipping point. Page ink quantity that Epson states is not accurate . Scanner dpi is not accurate. I have spent close to $180 on your ink. within the first 6 months. I have no choice but to throw away your product and purchase another brand.
