Not a good printer

I purchased this printer after reading reviews and doing research. It seemed like it would be best for what I would need it for, but after getting it and using it, I am completely disappointed. First off, the print color does not match that of the screen. Pinks look more red, blues look more green no matter what paper setting I have it set on. Also, I would like to feed more than on sheet of card stock at a time and will not allow me to do so without the paper jamming. I use very expensive card stock and I do not want to risk crumpling it in this printer. Second thing is the print speed. It's very slow and takes forever to warm up just to print or scan one page. I will be returning this printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Inhales ink

I purchased this printer due to Consumer Report's review of efficient ink use. After two weeks, it seemed the machine inhaled ink, leaving color copies on plain paper almost soaked. Black and white text copies looked good, but each ink cartridge printed far fewer than promised on the box. Tech services said I had a lemon, and sent me a brand new machine... which had the same result: both text and color graphics printed on plain paper resulted in only about half the number of copies indicated on the box. That means you will be buying lots of ink cartridges to keep this machine going. (I have not used this machine for printing photos.) Plus, it will NOT print if any of the cartridges are empty! Thus, no black and white text will be printed if any one of the color cartridges is empty, and color graphics will not be printed if the black cartridge is empty, even though there is a separate 'photo black' cartridge that still contains ink.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The installation instructions at step 6 were not clear enough to say "Do this on your computer" along with the CD and the CD Tray for the printer.

Cannot really say much, setup was easy, did a hard wire as it seemed easiest, and will be happy if the print CD works, as it was the main reason for purchase. Also the multi features will probably come into play along the way, only feature not applicable was the fax as there is no phone connection in the house, all phones are cell

All ink cartridges that come with equipment in box are half full or less. It does not say that anywhere on website.

XP-630 simply doesn't work

Just purchased. Followed all setup procedures, no shortcuts. Refuses to print form Microsoft word. Refuses to scan into Mac computer. Gone through setup and successful network printout, and just completed a firmware update during which I did not touch the machine, until it was completed.
Wireless light on front of unit does't light up.
I will attempt one troubleshooting ticket, and then this goes back to the store int he original packaging as completely unacceptable.
