This was very difficult to set up. More description along with the pictorial would have been useful. Most people buying a printer can read.

User manual

Absolutely HATE that only way to access details of how to use printer features is online!!! VERY difficult for those with any type of vision issue to do onscreen information search and/or use instructions if found. NOT user friendly to have only online manual!!!

Excellent Product with Easy Setup

It only took me 8 minutes to setup from the time the box arrived from shipment. The on-screen instructions along with the set-up fold out instructions were a breeze. I highly recommend this product for occasional use. It doesn't hold a lot of paper, so printing often would be slow with this. Also, the only thing I found immediately confusing were all of the pullout trays, but quickly realized that the tray for paper to print out onto is inside the machine. Other than that, perfect.

Software concern

I purchased a new Epson printer and was very frustrated that the only way to install the software was with a CD. Many laptops no longer have this capability. The software should really be provided on a USB portable drive. They are very inexpensive and are universal. The installation process for me has been a huge headache.

Ink

Hello. I have used the XP-630 for about 3 weeks since I purchased it. I was confused about the black ink labeled BK and PBK and purchased PBK thinking it was the regular used. I write letters with photos included but I think the PHOTO PBK is not used when printing photos on letters. I do not normally print photos on photo paper such as 5X7 or 4X6. I want to know how I can program printing letters using the PBK photo ink. The BK 410 size is used up rather rapidly. Also when buying a box with 4 cartridges the black seems to always be PBK. Do I always have to buy BK ink separately? When I want to buy a kit with the 3 colors and black I want there to be BK ink instead of PBK. Please tell me how to print letters using only the PBK ink which I am now overstocked with because of my misunderstanding of the system. Thank you.............Paul Wilson

The ink runs out and I bought a new ink cartridge but now matter how many time I tried installed it kept saying it doesnt recogize the ink cartridge. The feeding is awful; I have to put the paper in and out to be able to print.

Initial Reaction - Just setting up the printer - have not actually started using it yet but this printer is not built as sturdy as my old Epson Stylus Photo RX620. Which is probably true of most products today. The ink cartridges look about 1/2 the size of the older model's cartridges - will have to wait and see how far they go. Time will tell - I will update as I go. So far the printing looks good. Decided to purchase this model because of the high scanner resolution 4800x4800 dpi
