I love the CD printer but every time I print sheets I get a line across bottom of print. I have returned printer 3 times for this and it still does it on every new one I get. I need someone to look into this problem and email me about how you are going to fix this and get me one that will world right

Dissatisfied with the XP-830

I had my first Epson XP-830 for about 6 months when I tried to turn it on and it was dead...would not come on. I called and Epson sent me a new one and I am in the process of setting it up now. The only reason this printer got a 2 out of 5 is because customer service was very helpful and sent out the new printer immediately. The problem with that is that they know they have a problem. I was told it was the hard drive but I wasn't told that the problem is fixed and that this won't happen again in another 6 months. My previous printer, not an Epson, lasted 7 or 8 years and still works except for the wireless connection which pushed me to get a new one. Looking at reviews no printers seem to be worth much these days. As much as we pay you would think they would last multiple years. Hopefully the hard drive problem is fixed and this one will last a long time...only time will tell though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

extremely difficult instructions to follow due to incomplete information on several steps and it would be nice if you provided a identification of each part of the printer so that a user could now which part and where it is etc. in the install process. my install was very stressful and time consuming due to lack of needed info.

May have to take it back to the store. But I know it isn't something oh oh so terribly wrong. Probably just have to click a few mouse clicks and place my finger over a @ switch or something. Ha ha.

Was nice for the few months or worked.....now all I get is this thing constantly saying it's out of paper when there is paper loaded. We have tried everything- nothing helps. Waste of money

Not sure I would recommend. I need a more comprehensive Guide. Set up details are clear but operational guide is needed. How do I get a written manual?
