No Go.

Got it. Came home. Installed. Prints with vertical lines on all kinds of paper. Took it back. Got refund. NO GO. Probably the last Epson for me.

Difficult to share to different Operating Systems

My previous Epson CD Printer (RX-580) worked fine for over eight years until one of colors clogged. This new Epson XP-630 installed fine on the Window 8.1 as wireless. I could not get it to connect wireless to the Vista 32-bit Machine on other side of house. I then connected it with a USB,spent much time finding and installing Vista x86 driver, Now the printer works but not scanner. I installled the manual from the CD that came with it , but found no help to connect the scanner on the Vista 32 machine.. Scanner is unable to register TWAIN and still trying. Last week I got the CD print working from the Win 8 machine and had to run back and forth to get success with the wireless connection. I guess the XP-630 was not intended to be shared. I may try again since I love a good mystery. I pity the more challenged folks trying to share this device. I tried to get more info online, without success. I haven't called Epson, yet, but sent an email. The FAQ's are no help.

I will review later after i get it working, I was sent a 620 disc with the printer, so I had to download from the internet for my 830.

I hate this printer!

Setup is easy. WiFi works fine. Personal, low quantity use only.
Ink cartridges shipped with the printer are not the XL but the I versions which hold less ink. So within weeks of buying I had to buy new cartridges.
When replacing cartridges, there was still ink in the old ones.
Paper jams all the time.
I'm going to toss this one in the trash and buy a commercial printer that works.

Can the XP-630 print 8 1/4 x 14? Is it Windows 10 compatible.

Set up went well, but I have not had any time to use the new printer yet. At this point I am satisfied, but it is too early to have an overall opinion.

This was my dream printer. Expensive and I had high hopes. After moderate use the heads are unaligned and the nozzles cannot be cleaned. The printer is useless and cannot be repaired. From now on I am sticking to cheaper printers, realizing they die in two years or so. I hope my replacement, an XP 830 meets my expectations.
