Great Compact Printer

This is a wonderful printer that performs very well and is very versatile. It is small enough to easily fit in my computer desk printer drawer.
I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the high ink cost factor and inability to purchase ink locally.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the fourth Epson printer I have owned, and I am not impressed with it. I do like its features such as the auto document feed and duplex printing. I do print onto CD/DVD discs often, and I find that feature is awkward and time consuming. I have had two occasions when the printer refuses to print from the proper tray. Two days ago I printed a DVD disc and then wanted to print an Avery label. The printer decided that it would only print the label from the CD/DVD tray. I ended up wasting an hour and never got my label printed. For some reason it, later on, decided the paper tray was okay. Using the rear paper tray is an adventure sometimes in that off-and-on it will refuse to print from the rear tray feeder.
Print quality is very good. Duplex printing is great but slow as expected. The document feeder works fine.
I find this printer's features are great, but actual operating is awkward and unpredictable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice compact printer. It has a very small paper tray so it runs out of paper quickly.
The ink doesn't last very long so it ends up being a very expensive printer.
The actual printout is very clear and the colors are great.
