great quality prints with all the functionality you could want. small footprint and great on ink + double sided printing. Cons would be murky color and slower printouts and i havent figured out how to customize the output by user

Easy connect - paper saver

Like the double-sided printing feature. Saves us lots of paper. Easy connect for our PCs, iphones and ipads. Auxiliary software works well. A little slow but worth the wait. Hoping to have good experience with cartridge usage....we'll see.

The printer is very quiet, and as compared to some other printers we have used, it doesn't snake/vibrate when it is printing.
However, it seems to be very slow. It tends to shut off before its supposed to.
I would rather have the printer be a bit noisier if it prints faster.

Very Dissatisfied

Easy Install?! My friend and I were on the phone to the Philippines for nearly two hours trying to set up the Wi-Fi. It was like cracking a safe! The scanning features are featureless. I'm an artist, and depend on quality images, and yet not matter how I re-set the scan settings all the images kept coming out too dark, obscuring all the artwork. it is going back to the store tomorrow!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Highly recommend this copier from Brother. Ink cartridges install easily and work first time. Scans copies in a effortless manner. Copies are crisp and detailed.
I would Recommend to friends and relatives witout hesitation. Excellent choice.

I Love This Printer!

This printer does everything I need and more. It has four separate ink cartridges, so will save me money. However, it is an inexpensive printer. It is well engineered, but treat it gently. Brother support is also very good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Reasonable Toner Prices

I had purchased a Lexmark all in one printer because Consumer Reports rated it highly. However a few months after I had purchased the Lexmark (and after I had experienced sticker shock when I had to purchase toner Consumer Reports had another article about toner guzzlers and high priced toners and guess who was one of the winners? Of course it was Lexmark! I did some further research & learned that the Brother's toner cost was much more reasonable and it didn't guzzle toner like the Lexmark. I have been very satisfied with this model!
