Disappointing

I have no idea what this printer was designed for, or the work it was meant to do. It does not have the ink capacity to handle much. Had it for 5 months. It stopped working after one print job of 88 black copies. 1 Print Head cleaning will wipe out your ink requiring you to buy more ink.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

People who come to my home think I must work for Brother because I always rave about my printer. I am always discovering great new features, I guess I should have read the instruction manual; Just recently I was happy to discover duplex printing!, printing on both side without removing sheets etc. I bought three printers, one for my mom, ...and honestly a spare for me, I am afraid they stop making them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Printer, could be better

I love the fact that this printer does double sided! I cannot get it to successfully scan to my computer tho so that is a downfall. Also, it goes to sleep a lot and then it will not print. It goes into an error state all the time so you have to retend like you are fixing a paper jam when there is really not a jam. Overall, it does what I need. The ink seems to last well too.

The WIFI does not seem to be very dependable, have to reprogram it.

My first printer was a brother. I bought it then because of their reputation of reliability and performance and price. I got my 2nd one as a gift and was not a Brother. Now I needed another printer that I was paying for that was reliable and gave me quality prints. Brother was the obvious choice. I recommend Brother productects. Peace

Not so easy to use

It’s not so easy to use u always have to add paper when u have a lot of paper work being faxed to the machine because it doesn’t hold enough paper so it has to be done more often then my hp printer did at lease it held more papers so u were able to get more faxes without to worry that u need to feed it more papers

Plenty of feature's

Awesome printer with fax and more! This printer has so much to offer and I'm not really savvy on all the things that this printer is capable of doing. The Ink cartridge's are so easy to change out and I like the fact that a ink level gauge shows how much ink is left.
I would recommend this to a friend!
