This printer does everything well. Easy WiFi hook up. Excellent print quality. Satisfactory speed.

I do not recommend this printer for anyone. It is extremely slow in printing and for making copies.

terribly disappointing. not easy to install or use (when compared with a certain competitor). I bought a Brother because I got tired of having to replace the competitor's device almost every year, as the scanner breaks down that often. I was hoping for more from Brother, but between the very user UNfriendly interface and finding it impossible to find replacement inks in stock in major stores, I donated the Brother to a Goodwill-type organization.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Poor Performance

I returned the 1st one for excess paper jams and I return the 2nd one for excessive paper jams and the colors were no where near correct. I replaced it with an Epson and am very happy.

This nightmare of a printer ruined my life for 2 years. It would never establish a connection with the modem. I would need to reset everything, just to have it disconnect again. Recently bought a different brand printer and it works flawlessly to connect.

Functional inexpensive printer

We needed a new printer as our 12+ year old printer wasn't working with Windows 8.1 in spite of updating software. The salesman at the store showed us numerous machines and we decided that this one would suit our purposes, printing occasional pictures, greeting cards, and documents, and the price was certainly good, if not downright cheap! I like the feature that it has separate ink for each color so you don't replace all colors if just one runs out. I was a bit confused when setting it up with our laptops using the wireless system but it actually went smoothly when I realized I should just follow the instructions carefully. So far we haven't done a lot of printing but I do like the wireless feature so I don't have to carry my laptop into the other room to print something. Colors look good when we print greeting cards, but it does print a bit slower than our old printer, but that isn't a problem since we seldom print more than one or two sheets of color at a time.
I would recommend this to a friend!
