Really Great Printer

My most favorite thing about my new MFC-J485DW is that it automatically turns itself on and off as needed. The print quality is superb! I'd like a little speedier printing but all in all, it's my best printer ever.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An adequate printer. Easy to set up. A bit slow in printing. There was a driver software problem which required 2 calls to tech support. When the problem was finally fixed, it also resulted in a change to some of my computer's settings. This did not engender trust in tech support. I am unsure if I would by another Brother product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little machine for small jobs. Easy to install and use. Very slow though. Otherwise, it's just right for home use.

Good Workhorse

For the money, this printer is quite adequate for home use. You can't do big jobs with it, but if you want a good wireless printer that provides a quality ink-printed document, this printer will do the trick. I do wish it printed a bit faster.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the printer, but

As I said I like the printer but don't like needing four cartridges to print. The printer does print very clear. It seems easy to operate. Loading the paper is also very easy as is making copies. Printing from the computer takes a little getting use too. I gave is printer a three star ratting as I do no like four different cartridges.

Being repaired after only 3 months...

Machine keeps jamming paper, gives off false readings such as "no paper", clean pick up roller, remove paper tray, paper tray not installed correctly, etc. Finally had to send it back for repair... It also took 2 minutes to print one page....

Horrible printer

It does not stay connected to the wifi network and prints extremely slowly. It keeps giving the message that there are no in cartridges installed when there are brand new cartridges in the printer. There is no option for a wired connection. No wonder it was so cheap. Unfortunately it's too late to return it.
