This is a great printer for the price. I found it very easy to set up, and I am greatly impressed by the print quality. My only misgivings are, firstly, the fact that it prints much more slowly compared to the earlier model, and secondly, the fact that it doesn't have a "fast print" option like my previous Brother printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

slow to print

I was expecting it to be a little faster when printing. I have owned printers for many, many years. This is the first slow one. Disappointing because it looks so good.

Easy and fast

It is so easy to install. I like the ink compartment, very convenient. Brother's software is great and easy to use. The color and speed are great. The only one draw back is lacking manual feed.

This inexpensive printer works great for its price. If you use the download program versus the CD be aware the instructions are not completely clear which adds a layer of complexity if you are not a computer guru. The final printed product is very good but it is slow so be prepared to wait for your document.
