I love the product except for the fact that when I go to make a copy it takes for ever. Tried to go into settings to see if I could change it from best quality to normal and I was not able to. I would appreciate some help with this.

Works great with Ubuntu laptop

This printer is connected to a laptop running Ubuntu as its primary OS. The software provided by Brother works perfectly. It is also connected via WiFi to Windows 7 running in an Oracle VirtualBox. This also works with no problems. The scanner function works with both OS's. I don't have a landlline, so I never use the Fax. The setting up of the printer to run with this system was relatively simple if you are familiar with Linux and Ubuntu.

Not compatible.......

......with home answering machine and voice mail from provider. Should be recommended by mfr to get Brother App Print & Scan to save time receiving error msgs and dropping wifi. Ink does not disappear as fast as from other devices. However, ink cartridges included in original package are minute in size. Pretty easy to use with proper Brother app.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid But Slow

I have only had the printer for a few weeks, but I was impressed by how easy it was to set up and easy it is to use. The printer was not expensive and I read the reviews that mentioned that it is slow, so I knew what I was getting into. I gladly put up with a slow printer that actually works!

The 3 toed sloth of printers

This is the slowest printer I have every owned. Over two minutes to print one page and makes what otherwise is a good easy to use, easy to set up product unacceptable in my view.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
