I love going wireless only one bad thing

I love my new printer going wireless is great and now we can also use the brother app and print from our Android tablets and Samsung phone the only bad thing that can be said is like many modern day printers this has a cleaning mode that activates every 12 hours unless you've printed a page before it starts and it consumes alot of ink from all cartridges and I read where it dumps ink to the bottom of the printer I do like where brother has a cartridge recycle program also

I have all the typical peripheral equipment that most computer users have. After retirement I decided to consolidate by having one device. Since speed was not a problem, I purchased the Brother 485dw. It is a ]rinter, copier, scanner and fax. It is wireless,also. Since more is done with tablets and smartphones, wireless is definitely a requirement. This was a good buy to reduce the number of items and increase flexibility of use. I don't print much anymore, so the print speed is not a big deal for me. If one prints many documents, etc., there are other Brother printers with a faster print speed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

it is compact, works great. the WiFi is outstanding. great for small projects, students small business and the screen is so easy to see and read. over the years (have owned 3 printers i have found the better printer is , a Brothers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unable to print error within 3 months

Printer was inexpensive however now I need to buy new again as printer head errors within first three months.
