I bought this for home use for little more than it would have cost to replace the ink in my old HP printer. So far I am satisfied with all of the features, as well as the more economical way to replace ink.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The software for this printer is not the best. Instructions to set up wifi and other printing defaults are annoying. This printer is best for simple tasks but definitely not heavy use. No double sided printing or scanning. Print and fax qualify are fine. Labeling documents can be a pain. Ink is a bit pricey if you use it frequently. Pay more to get more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to get set up

I was on the phone for two hours tryng to get this set up. One hour with Comcast because It was not recognizing my internet. Then another hour on the phone with the Brother helper and still not working. Then I had to pay a private company over the internet to get it set up for me!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
