Set up was more than wished for. The nice thing about it was, all the really minor issues that were dealt with from the manual. Not being a heavy user of printers, experience has taught, this is the right printer. Expecting nothing but the ease and reliability of use for years. As with the last Brother printer owned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Giving me problems with E6 error; this is because of real small piece of paper in the carriage.

Okay but not what I expected in a printer $$

Software is not user friendly. Changing the settings is cumbersome. Prints to slow if you don’t change the settings to fast print which is difficult within the software. Faxing is not user friendly either if you don’t change your home ring tones. The main reason for two stars rating.

Best Printer You Can Buy for the Price

The brother MFC-H485DW is the best printer I ever owned including Cannon's, HP's, Epson and Lexmark. This printer never miss feeds paper, is quiet, fast, makes perfect print outs, has great document feeder and is economical to use. I can't say enough about this printer.
