Slower than expected

I love brother printers. This is a good product but compared to my previous MFJ380 it is much slower than I expected. I think brother slowed it down on purpose so they can sell a higher cost item.

Great little printer

I love everything about my new printer, except I wish they had made the ink cartridges larger. It seams like every time I sit down to work I have to change a cartridge. PS: I use all XL cartridges.

Easy to Use

I have found that this was super easy to set up and even easier to use. I would say that I don't have many skills when it comes to computers and accessories, but I did find I could do this all by myself without the Help Chat...

Almost perfect

I bought this to replace my trusty MFC-255CW, which I'd had for years but suddenly stopped talking to my computer. The new printer does a few things the old one didn't, like 2-sided printing, and it has the ability to print in draft mode, which saves a lot of ink.(I print many drafts of my work.) The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is very loud. That certainly isn't a fatal flaw, but continues to be annoying.

this printer is easy to use and set up. ink is easily replaced. all in so far it is a great machine. lets see how long it lasts!! my last one only ran for 2 years

Have two Brothers in the house and 1 HP. The HP lasted less than a year (the drum went). Brother is the best ever, especially this one with the print on both sides of the page option!
