[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the MFC-J485DW for a few years. It was purchased as part of my new office equipment. I use it to print both personal and professional items. It has worked flawlessly as a printer, scanner and copier for years. It gives me warnings when the toner is low as well as when I am out of paper. I appreciate the simple design and fact that it connects via wifi so other users on my network can access printing options.

This was a very good printer ror home use.After 5 years it started to have problems.Brother customer service tried its best to help.Sending it in for service is cost prohibitive.

Excellent for home use

This is the second time I purchased this model. We wore the last one out. We purchased it in 2017. It is easy to set up, and love that we can print from our phones. Clear printed pages, and does not waste ink.
