DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER

I have had this printer for several years but do not use it much. I just purchased my SECOND replacement ink cartridges and replaced the old cartridges with the new ones, however, the printer will not print. I've researched how to reset the computer, there is no notification that this is necessary and instructions on doing so with the new cartridges, without success. Wow! I thought Canon was better than this. Absolutely do not recommend this product.

Horrible drivers, instructions and system

I bought this and never used the scan feature until 2 years later, now I find how horrible and badly engineered product it is. Canon doesn't look like do any testing on their equipment. Had good canon before this one broke after 3 years now this one useless from beginning too late to return going to eletronics recycle place. Never Canon again. Cannot scan, tech support no idea about what to do to make work GREAT!

Junk

I needed a printer for working from home because I had an HP printer that died. I got the Cannon and was able to pair it with my phone. After printing about 10 pages of labels it stopped printing the whole page and the colors were not printing properly. Yes, I changed the ink. I then needed to print some paperwork off for my work and could not connect with my computer. It asks for a code, which is not located on the printer and the crappy display doesn’t show any code. So it looks like I will be going back to Hp since I never had any connection issues. Now I just have a cheap paperweight.

Difficult on Mac

If you're a Mac user like we are, chances are you'll have lots of difficulties getting this to consistently work. The average time spent trying to print wirelessly ranges from 1 to 3 hours. I spend much more time troubleshooting than getting actual work done. Plus the ink costs more than this piece of junk printer. Everything cheap isn't a good deal. Returning as soon as possible. Thanks for nothing.

We've had nothing but trouble in the 3 months we've operated this printer. Now it won't print at all and the blinking light correlates with the message, "needs service." Maybe the plastic components easily misalign or break, but we cannot see anything obvious. Nothing is jammed. We changed the print cartridges to new ones, thinking we had bad cartridges. That didn't work. We need more than service, we need a new printer...and this time, it won't be a Canon.
