Fine When It Decides To Work

This should be a basic, easy to use printer and scanner. I don’t need it often, but when I do, I need it to work. I spend more time hovering over it, pressing buttons, it either not grabbing standard paper or jamming, usually on the bottom where it can’t be reached. Turn off, pray to the printer gods the jam will move so it can be grabbed. It’s also finicky on print quality, sometimes being a bit blurry or having a random thin line that doesn’t print no matter how many times you go through maintenance. This printer will teach you new colorful language! It’s a shame, because the size and weight are perfect, when the printer decides to work properly it’s a breeze. WiFi setup can be a challenge, but I’m not super technical. I wish Canon would make some tweaks to this everyday printer. I’m on my second one. Lastly, there’s no reason for the current price, it’s way too high!

this printer is the worst

This printer was ok for a couple months, until it disconnected from the internet. I cannot get it to reconnect. I purchased this computer to printer to print documents while working from home. This was a complete waste of money. I can't get it to print at all.

Great printer for the price

Just got it and the installation was very easy. Used my phone to get the wireless working. Printed from that. Then I got my windows laptop connected and printed from that. Lastly I connected my chrome book to the cloud printing feature built in on the printer and was done in less than a hour.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Inexpensive & solid equipment

Advised to buy this model by a professional writer. For the price you cannot beat the quality. Both prints & photoprints are good quality. Much more solid design than its competitors.

worst printer I ever wasted my money on it does not print as should ink is updated and it won't print in color and the pages are so faded you can't even see anything what a waste of money don't buy this printer

This is yet another example of a company purposefully creating a machine to work great for one week and then break down entirely, forcing you to buy another one. Does not work!
