The constant updates are a nightmare! It should be automatic considering the system is set up with the internet

I love the sound quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this product for over 2 years and it works great. I would recommend using an ethernet cable to setup and use. Everything, especially updates, go a lot quicker and faster.

Great system if not for constant network drops

I got the sountouch 10 and 20. As expected, the sound is amazing and the bose app has many good features that allow to listen to music from different sources. However, the speakers constantly get dropped off the network making it an extremely frustrating experience. I have one of the speakers placed right next to the router and another in a different room. Regardless of the location, the speakers get dropped (show in dashed lines in the app and not responsive) all the time! Sometimes one of the speakers disappears, sometimes both.
Conclusion: sound is great, softwear is the worst and has not gotten any bettet in the year that I've had it.

Bluetooth Connection is painful

Setting this speaker up has been a very painful process and it is still not connected. I am a process engineer and very experienced at setting up these type of products but their app interface is ridiculous if it doesn't go exactly as planned. Once it gets stuck there is not way to proceed. They need to rethink their setup interface process.

Great sound but very poor software

Try to reset the device since 3 hours. The app doesn't find an internet connection, can't find the device ...
Doesn't work with ethernet connection. Looses presettings after some days.

Deeply disappointed

I asked for this speaker for Christmas and at first was excited until I actually started using it. I expected bose to have an excellent sound it was mediocer at best. Using Sirius radio, it would lose signal at leas once every 5 minutes. No airplay support was also a big downer. Bluetooth worked ok as I experieced the same lose of signal being inside the same room. The sound quality was lackluster. I expected some bass even for the small size, I was expecting at least a little. The mids and highs were ok but there was definitely some static that didn't give it the clear and tight sound I have expected from Bose. Its going back to the store and looking for a better quality speaker for the price.

Frustrated

We just bought Bose SoundTouch 20 series III. i've just spent 3 hours trying to set it up. It needs an update before you can any farther. It will not up date I've tried all of their suggestions on the support page. Even tried on 2nd computer no luck. we will be returning tomorrow.
