great over all speaker and value

I have had this for over a year and have been pleasantly surprised about how this mid-sized speaker preforms. I live in a multistory townhouse(skinny and tall) and can hear this one speaker throughout very clearly the app is decent too but has a small learning curve. the only negative is that I wish it was a little easier to play music from your library besides online sorces through the app.i will soon be adding some 10 series to my home soon.

The best speaker I've ever owned

I bought this speaker several months ago and have been happy ever since! The speaker has a surprising amount of bass for being so small and produces a crisp sound. Props to Bose for fitting this much power into such a small package! I prefer the size of this SoundTouch 20 to the 30. It's a good size if you need to move it from room to room. I would definitely recommended getting this if you are interested in the SoundTouch line. My only gripe is with the wifi music support. I really wish it supported Apple Music. I hope this is a service Bose brings on in the future.

This is an awesome music system. I have paired it with the 300 soundbar, the 300 rear surround speakers. This pairing is able to easily fill our home, balcony and patio with music. The music system by itself can fill the two rooms on our second floor with music.
I have been a Bose customer 20+ years. This is an example why I do not buy such products from their competition.

Great Product, but some considerations

This product is very very good. Sound quality is awesome. We have to be very careful because is such a powerful device that if you live in an apartment building your neighbors won't be happy if you decide to hear at medium volume because the bass is so intense that it almost makes the whole room vibrate.
So now some points to consider:
1. The Bose app in the computer is not a friendly easy to use app. It has some bugs that need to be fixed ASAP. Using the app in a mobile device is much easier than in the computer.
2. We use Spotify and it works perfect. Since the Bose app is so unfriendly to use we stream the music directly from Spotify and it works perfect every time.
3. We purchased the white Bose device, maybe was not the best idea because it gets dirty easily with dust or if you had cream in your hands, and I am worried that some of the stains in the frontal mesh wont go out.
4. I would recommend to Bose for the future to create a block button because is very easy to accidentally put it on, on full volume.
5. The Bose speakers uses a lot of the wireless capability, so if you are hearing music and you have other people using internet, for these other people the internet becomes slower.
6. We have a 75m2 flat, and we purchase the bigger speaker, this was also unnecessary because we will never use the speaker on full power and we would have been better with a smaller one and also price wise. If you don't have a very big space then is not worth going for the bigger speaker.
7. I love the idea that you can program any radio station or spotify playlist in the numbers above on the speaker. You might think this is unnecessary but is great, because you just literally press a button and you have your fav playlist available at instant.

To sum up, this is a great product we LOVE IT, we had it for a year now and it has given us cero problems, the sound quality is superior, the look is sleek and elegant. The only things I will warn are the choice of color, the size, and not to have high expectations of the Bose App, but don't worry if you use spotify or other music tool you will be fine.

This thing is awesome. Tried some other solutions but glad I finally ended up here. Works great stand alone over wifi, or a great partner to an Echo Dot. Sound quality is very good - not my first small Bose speaker, but the best sounding of the 3 I own. Worth the price. Just buy it.

Sounds great, I put it in an unubtrusive corner, and let it play. Easy set up, it took about 5 minutes to download the app, set it up, choose my music and press play. Couldn't be better.
