Great sound

I was debating between this unit and the ST 30. I have highly elated with this speaker. Wonderful full sound, and ease of set up made me a happy camper. So happy I decided to buy this speaker. I have 4 payments left on this purchase, and as soon as it is payed for, I'm going to buy the ST 30. The reason being they can be paired with other ST units and play the same music. Thank you BOSE geniuses for an awesome product.

I've been reviewing Internet radios for two months. I've had the Logitech Squeezebox for years. I loved the Squeezebox. But, it's been discontinued, no support, no updates, etc. So, I finally honed in on the SoundTouch. I had my doubts, but I finally decided this was a must try. Folks, they hit it out of the box! C'mon, Internet radio, Bluetooth, WiFi, Sirius/XM radio, and it all works flawlessly. I had 2 computers, my main pc and my server and my android all set up, including Bluetooth and my own music on my pc's in under an hour. Absolutely everything works perfectly, sound is great, and the apps are so simple to use and understand. I wish I hadn't spent two months to finally arrive and the best decision, Bose SoundTouch. Nearly perfect!! It will be years before the next, still in development, technology overtakes it.

I have many, many Bose products and added this one about a month ago and am quite impressed. I had read some reviews that noted some difficulty in connecting but I experienced none of that. But also note that moments after I turned it on and connected it to my home wi-fi, I got a software upgrade message on the unit. Took about five minutes and then adding various channels was easy. The six presets are fine for me since I mainly listen to SiriusXM, Pandora and AmazonMusic. All connected quickly and I also was pleased to discover that I can use the presets for different stations within the same app. One heads up is that Spotify only can be connected if you are using their premium (paid) package. My biggest revelation was when I placed the unit in the same listening room with my 15-year-old Acoustic Wave System I. I assumed the Wave sound would blow away this smaller unit, but the sound was glorious, especially the bass. The depth of the sound was beautiful, especially considering the wi-fi source compared with my Wave's CD music (but, again, I've had the Wave since 1999). It's also fun to turn on my favorite stations from my upstairs bedroom (using the iPhone app) and have the sound filling my downstairs before I get there. Another excellent Bose product with excellent sound. Highly recommended.

We didn't realize besides being able to play music from our iTunes library my husband and I would have access to both our libraries to play on the speaker. Great way to merge our music and be able to share with each other. We wish there was a sleep timer on it. We love it though. Nice to listen to our music aloud rather than through ear buds.

Purchased just before Christmas so now had nearly 6 months of joyfull listening. Love being able to play direct off my NAS drive my full ITunes library, have now ripped my entire CD collection. Listening to Internet radio stations provides unlimited selection. The only negative is the app software only allowing 6 presets which is rediculously low considering all the options. The sound quality is excellent with both music and interviews sounding equally good.

SoundTouch 20 not what expected

I buy numerous BOSE products, but this one is Hit and Miss. One moment it finds Airplay and plays fine. The next it shows the Airplay symbol, but NO sound. Bluetooth is equally poor. Was a BOSE supporter, but will have to rethink my accessories now
