Nice Features

We've had this stove for a couple months now. The grates don't just wipe off, you have to scrub at them a little. It says dishwasher safe, but I haven't tried that. The oven is great and cleaning it with steam is wonderful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this new range when I remodeled my kitchen and can't be happier with the way it looks as well as how it performs, I love baking and the convection oven is great my cakes come out even and gorgeous. Clean up is easy with the range top buners.

A very nice range

This range looks wonderful in our kitchen. We decided for this model instead of the slide-in model because the front panel looks much more modern and stylish. The slide-in model is more expensive, and I would have liked to see the backsplash behind the range, but in the end we couldn't like the front panel on that model, with its bulky curve. I ordered the grate for the center of the stovetop, which arrived before the range so it was ready to go. It's nice to have the griddle, but I think the range is much more attractive with the center grate and it allows for flexibility to use the center burner on pots and pans rather than the included griddle. The drawer below is small and shallow - much smaller than our last GE range. It holds the included griddle and a few small saucepans and lids. I was concerned about having a gas oven - I have only ever had electric - but we have baked several batches of cookies, pizza, and several other dinner items and all have been great, using the traditional setting (not convection). I knew that this model does not allow you to turn on the oven light while the door is closed, which is so odd, and I decided to get it anyway. I do find it strange and annoying that there is a giant beautiful oven window, but no light to see through it. I wish they have offered a switch, but ultimately it isn't worth the much-higher price tag of the model that offers it.

I love this stove! I had to adjust to a gas oven since I always have had electric. I love it and it is easy to use!
