Love this except for the burner grids.. black paint? Comes off ehen the pots are placed on them. Even gently.

I had a "scratch & dent" GE gas range at my old house for almost 30 years & loved it. I should have brought it with me to my new house. I had heard that GE had sold off their kitchen appliance division, and the quality wasn't as good. I found this to be true. The four circular burners perform well, but the oval center flame does not heat up the griddle evenly. The oven temperature does seem to be correct. The exterior is made of thinner material than my old range. The knobs are plastic which is ridiculous for a product that uses heat. Also, the bottom storage drawer is light and easily comes off the track. I have only had the range for 6 weeks. I am hoping that it will last 25+ years like my last GE range did. I am going to handle it with kid gloves in an attempt to prolong its life! Apparently from speaking to numerous sales people at various appliance stores, this product is the best on the market in the lower to mid price range. How sad as there really are not a lot of components to a total gas range. I recommend this product with some reservations.

Mu new stove is the same width as my last one but my pots and pans fit better. Even with the griddle, it's roomier. I love the easy to clean griddle too. It was a good choice and I'd recommend it to others.

Poor quality powder coating. This Was the first time we use the griddle. It actually shipped off while we were cooking pancakes on it

Love my new GE gas range!

We recently replaced a smooth top stove that was in a three year old house we just bought, with this good-looking GE gas range. The smooth top was awful and I’ve always preferred the temperature control one has with gas. I love love using the griddle to cook eggs, pancakes, steaks, and grilled sandwiches, then being able to remove it to use the middle burner as a fifth unit. To do this, I purchased the grate accessory available to fit the oval unit. Also wonderful to have different size BTU units for various cooking needs

This is a great gas range. The convection function works great and temp is accurate in the oven. The stove's griddle is a great item as well.
