This range is exceeding my expectations and putting to rest some of the reviews I have read here and on sellers' websites. I'd be writing a book so I'll limit my post to the most significant to me as I nearly turned to another manufacturer based on the reviews in question. This appliance has all of the features describe on GE website. People have posted range doesn't have interior light that can be turned on without opening to door (wrong). The button to turn the light on is right there with the panel. Convection feature is as described. This is a fan driven only convection system. If you're looking for "traditional convection" which has a heating element you might be disappointed. I did find that there is a an industry move to stainless steel so the price of this item was similar to a higher end GE stainless steel. When I get my kitchen remodel (someday, lol) I'll upgrade dishwasher; fridge; range to GE Profile stainless steel.

This range was a great choice for us. Aside from the occasional plastic or maybe it's electrical smell when on high oven temp we have had no problems thus far.
