GE doesn't allow honest reviews

I tried, multiple times, to submit an honest review. My reviews have all been moderated because they were negative. GE only allows positive reviews. Because I can't trust the their product reviews to be accurate, I won't be buying anything else from GE.

Not as good as I expected!

I bought this stove 30 days ago and I am very disappointed with it. The 2016 model came with a griddle in the middle, but no cooking grate as did the 2015 model. The stove does not have an oven light except when you open the oven, then it comes on. How can I check on my cookies with no light? I can't see thru the glass door without an oven light. The convection oven is not what it is promised. The bread baked with the convection oven on, was no better than without the convection oven.

No oven light unless you open the oven door!

Im so disappointed! Actually I'm livid!! Im talking to my husband to see if we can return it. I wish i would have known about this ahead of time! This is such an inconvenience! Why in the world GE made this stove without the oven light button on the stove panel? The golden rule....NEVER open the door while you're baking! Ugh! All i keep thinking about is my thanksgiving is ruined!! Please save yourself the trouble and make sure your stove has the oven light button on the stove panel.

NO EXTERNAL OVEN LIGHT

I bought the entire "SLATE" package. Was very happy until I went to use the oven.To my dismay there is NO EXTERNAL OVEN LIGHT..What were they thinking?? Now you have to open the oven each time you want to check the food. Not very smart.
This is the ONLY oven in the world that does not have an external oven light..Do not buy...Terrible ergonomics.

Overall ok - but no oven light button - really?

Good price. Good functionality. Great look with the slate series - but really - who designed an oven without the capability to turn on the light without opening the oven? Very poor design decision! Annoying enough to us that we may return the entire slate series for another brand.

No oven light switch

Too late I discovered I cannot turn the light on in the oven. You have to OPEN the door. Why a big glass door if you have to open the oven to look inside? I did give two stars because it does do a good job otherwise, and I love the slate finish. But I bake a lot, and I constantly opening the door to check on progress since I cannot do so without a light.

Very pleased with my new gas rang

I couldn't give this range 5 stars because it has no switch for the oven light. Of all the ranges I've had in the last 50 years, it's the first one that lacks such a feature. I didn't even think to check that in the store.
I would recommend this to a friend!
